Emma Irvine-Collins

Emma Irvine-Collins is a project officer at Q Shelter, working in data analysis and research. She graduated with a dual degree in Social Science (majoring in Development) and Arts (majoring in Political Science) at 51�Թ�� in 2020, followed by completing her Honours in Social Science in 2021, exploring the partnerships of a supportive housing for families program in Brisbane. Prior to working at Q Shelter, Emma worked at a youth service, at 51�Թ�� as a research assistant, and in an electorate office for a local Member of Parliament.

Lauren McNamara

Lauren McNamara is the Ipswich Regional Care Coordinator within the Service Integration Initiative at Q Shelter. This role is a place-based response to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Lauren started her tertiary education with a Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management. After working as a restaurant manager for a couple of years, Lauren returned to UQ and graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science (majoring in Development) in 2011. Since then, Lauren has worked primarily in front-line case management roles across a variety of Specialist Housing Services (SHS).

Alex Luke is the Sales Manager of Mainfreight Transport, Brisbane. An Alumni of University of Queensland, he joined Mainfreight’s Graduate Program in 2020 following his studies in International Business & Hospitality Management.

Beginning in our operations, he learned the business from the ground up before joining our Commercial & Sales team in Chemcouriers, a Dangerous Goods movement subsidiary. In his career pathway he has developed a strong expertise in the soft skills of business such as relationship building and negotiation.

Throughout the previous 3 years with Mainfreight he has seen an upward trajectory as part of our ‘promote-from-within’ philosophy, now taking on the management of a larger sales team across Brisbane.

Liam Fraser

Liam Fraser is the Sales Manager of Mainfreight Airfreight, Brisbane. An Alumni of University of Queensland who studied Chemical Engineering & Science (Chemistry), Liam began work casually with Mainfreight during high-school in our Warehousing team. He transitioned into Airfreight forwarding as COVID-19 began. This was the start of his passion of problem solving: project work of importing vaccines and test-kits from China, re-exporting movements to New Zealand and controlling temperature-sensitive freight throughout the pandemic. Following this experience, he now seems himself as a ‘Supply Chain Consultant’ within our business rather than a ‘Sales Rep’, working to solve the problems of a number of international customers and support their supply chain efforts.

Marianne is the People Lead for Citadel Securities Australia. She started her career as a data analyst after completing her studies in Pure Maths and Stats at Sydney University, which remains a foundation of many of Marianne’s approaches to problems, which are now focused on People. Finding alignment with the energy, pace and exposure to analytical profiles in the financial markets, Marianne continued her studies at UC Berkely, completing a Diploma in Finance. Marianne is passionate about optimizing potential at the individual, team and organizational level and loves a conversation on related topics. Her favourite thought leaders are Malcolm Gladwell and Anil Seth.

Bruna Diegues

Head of APAC Campus Recruiting

Bruna is Citadel’s Head of APAC Campus Recruiting. Last year she relocated to Sydney from Brazil to build Citadel Securities’ campus recruiting strategy in Australia and most recently expanded her role to also lead the APAC region. Bruna has close to 10 years of experience in Human Resources with focus on early talent engagement, recruitment and development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Accounting well as a MBA in Human Resources from FGV.

Samantha Dennis

Australia Campus Recruiting Coordinator

Samantha joined the Campus Recruitment team at Citadel Securities, supporting Bruna Diegues with recruitment for Australia. Samantha has wealth of experience working within human resources with the financial services and recruitment industries, having previously worked at Nomura Australia and Robert Walters.
