Charles University was founded in 1348, making it one of the oldest universities in the world! Today, CU is a world-class institution of higher education, the largest and most renowned Czech university. It is a multi-disciplinary, research-oriented and outward-looking institution, located in the heart of Prague.

The Vlatva river is the soul of Prague. The embankment is a popular part of community life, with markets, sports and exhibitions taking place there throughout the summer. Take a stroll over one of the 30 bridges spanning the river and look out at the thousand spires dotting the citys skyline.

30 ECTS credits per semester at Charles University is equivalent to 8 UQ units.

You will need a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.5 to study at Charles Uni.

You must choose one admission faculty from the list of faculties below and take the majority (60%) of courses within the chosen faculty. Further details are outlined in the Additional Academic Information section below.
