Accommodation
The growing demand for rooms and the significant increase in rental prices makes it very difficult for students to find a flat in Berlin. Humboldt-Universit瓣t seeks to coming to Berlin. However, since Humboldt does not possess its own housing, only a limited number of places in residence halls can be arranged for international students.
Cost of living
The has risen in recent years, however, is still more affordable than many other major European cities.
To obtain a residence permit in Berlin, you must be able to prove monthly financial resources of泭 720泭or a yearly sum泭of泭 8,640.

Insurance
Students approved to participate in a Semester-based Exchange are automatically covered by UQs Travel Insurance for the country of their host university only.

If you plan to travel outside of your host country, you should purchase additional insurance.
When the application for a visa is made in the applicant's home country, proof of health insurance coverage may be required. If the prospective student has private health insurance coverage in the home country, this must be approved by a compulsory health insurance provider in Germany, which could mean that exemption is granted from .
