14 tani / credits per semester at Kyushu University is equivalent to 8 UQ units.

Host university requirements

GPA
You will need a minimum cumulative GPA of 5.25 to study at Kyushu University.
Students with a lower GPA may still apply for Kyushu, as application documents are considered holistically.

Language

  • School or Graduate School programs: Students wishing to take courses taught in Japanese with Kyushu domestic students will require Japanese proficiency of or higher.
  • Japanese Language and Culture Courses (JLCC): You will require a  or higher.
