Host university requirements
GPA
You will need a minimum cumulative GPA of 5.25Â to study at Kyushu University.
Students with a lower GPA may still apply for Kyushu, as application documents are considered holistically.
Language
- School or Graduate School programs: Students wishing to take courses taught in Japanese with Kyushu domestic students will require Japanese proficiency of or higher.
- Japanese Language and Culture Courses (JLCC): You will require a  or higher.
