Whether you're preparing for internships, graduate roles, or career pivots, this program will sharpen your skills and boost your confidence.听Over four weeks, you will听connect with UQ career development team members, industry representatives, and听fellow students.听
A digital badge听will be awarded to participants who attend at least three in-person sessions of the听program and passing two assessments. This can听be used as one听supplementary activity towards the听Employability Award.听

Workshop 1: Crafting Your Unique Value Proposition & Strategic Career Plan
Workshop 2: Strategic Networking & Industry Engagement

Assessment 1: Elevator pitch (2-5 minutes)
Assessment 2: Reflective blog post (300-500 words)

Our Career Development Programs are听 designed to give you the support and guidance you need to feel confident in planning your career.
Careers 101 Program
A 4 week program will be offered听in Semester 1, 2025 open to all students to help to get started in their听career journey.听 The program seeks to support students to:
- Understand who they are as a professional听and identify career pathway opportunities
- Learn about the job application process听and how to effectively reflect on and articulate learning from experiences
听
Career Advancement Program
A more advanced program delivered over 4 weeks which seeks to support students to:
- Develop their career plan and strategies
- Enhance student capabilities and confidence in articulating their unique value proposition to prospective employers

For Career Development Programs students are no longer required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and are welcome to book directly into the program.听
