Fudan University International Summer Session
The is a 4-week program that combines academic learning and cultural immersion for students from all over the world. You will have the chance to explore China, discover Shanghai and become part of the Fudan community. You will also interact with International students and learn from each other.
This program will enhance your intercultural competence, broaden your global perspective, and connect you with peers from all over the world. Experience Chinese culture and the wonders of ShanghaiÌýthrough extracurricular and social activities that will enhance multicultural understanding and establish a global vision.Ìý

Credit equivalent
2 credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units if 4 credits are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).Ìý

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience criteria and theÌý.Ìý
This program impacts on UQ semester 2, 2026 dates. UQ students must meet the additionalÌýspecial conditionsÌýfor programs that impact on teaching dates.
It is strongly recommended that you submit your application to the Global Experiences team at least 4 weeks before the host nomination deadline, 31 March 2026, to allow sufficient time for faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadlines.

Application Deadlines
OS-HELP loan applications open on 5 January each year.
OS-HELP loan applications can’t be accepted:
- any earlier than 6 monthsÌýbefore the official start date of your overseas study
- any later thanÌý3 monthsÌýbefore the official end date of your overseas study.
