Credit Equivalent
3 credits听= 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units if 6 credits are successfully completed across two sessions (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the听UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria听and the听. Students are required to at least have a 4.5听GPA to meet CIS entry requirements.
Session 4 and B听impact on UQ semester 2 dates. UQ students must meet the additional听special conditions听for programs that impact on teaching dates.
CISaustralia programs are highly competitive and fill up fast so be sure to get your application in as early as possible.
If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to the Global Experiences team at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for Faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline. 听
Costs
The participation mode of this experience is听Study Abroad, meaning you pay tuition听directly to the host.听The program fee will cost approximately $7,999 AUD - $12,999 AUD and includes tuition, accommodation, meals and class field trips. An additional application fee of $99 AUD will apply.

Application Deadlines
OS-HELP loan applications open on 5 January each year.
OS-HELP loan applications can鈥檛 be accepted:
- any earlier than 6 months听before the official start date of your overseas study
- any later than听3 months听before the official end date of your overseas study.
