Applicants are advised to submit听2-3 courses on their application for credit form听for faculty assessment听credit in case of course cancellation.听
Credit equivalent听
4 Units = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2听UQ units after successful听completion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the standard UQ Student Eligibility Criteria听and the 听for the relevant course.
For more information regarding the entry requirements, please see the program information for each individual course listed above.
If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to the Global Experiences team at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for Faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline.听
*Applicants from UQ听must apply as a听Non-Exchange (fee-paying) student.听
Cost
The participation mode of this experience is听Study Abroad, meaning that you pay tuition directly to the host.听Tuition will cost听approximately $4,600 AUD and an application fee of $350 AUD will apply, which is deducted from the balance of the program fees.
Applicants from UQ must apply as Non-Exchange (fee-paying) students, and relevant fees apply.

Accommodation
On-campus accommodation in a single room can be arranged as part of the program for an additional cost of $1,500 AUD.

Global Experiences Grants
When you submit your application for an听experience, you are automatically considered for funding that is relevant to your nominated experience. Please refer to the鈥�Short-Term Experiences Funding听page for details.听
OS-HELP Loan
You may also be eligible to submit an application for an听听if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student.

OS-HELP loan applications open on 5 January each year.
OS-HELP loan applications can鈥檛 be accepted:
- any earlier than 6 months听before the official start date of your overseas study
- any later than听3 months听before the official end date of your overseas study.
