Applicants are advised to submitÌý2-3 courses on their application for credit formÌýfor faculty assessmentÌýcredit in case of course cancellation.Ìý
Credit equivalent
3 - 4 SCU = 2 UQ units. Maximum of 2ÌýUQ Units after successfulÌýcompletion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval).Ìý
Students may enrol in up to two courses during the program, however are eligible to receive credit for a maximum of one course.Ìý

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience criteria and .
ÌýStudents are required to have a minimum UQ GPA of 5.5Ìýin order to apply for this program.
If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to the Global Experiences team at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for Faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline.Ìý
Costs and funding
The participation mode of this experience isÌýStudy Abroad. The tuition fee will be $5,270 AUD for one course.Ìý

OS-HELP loan applications open on 5 January each year.
OS-HELP loan applications can’t be accepted:
- any earlier than 6 monthsÌýbefore the official start date of your overseas study
- any later thanÌý3 monthsÌýbefore the official end date of your overseas study.
