University of Vienna Austrian Arbitration Academy
°Õ³ó±ðÌýÌýis hosted by the Sommerhochschule of the University of Vienna which has been hosting an international summer program with a strong focus on European and International Law since 1949.
Every summer participants from all over the world attend seminars and spend time together as a part of an international community on a campus on the shore of Lake Wolfgang.ÌýThe Austrian Arbitration Academy is an intensiveÌýtwo-week programÌýon international commercial arbitration.ÌýÌý

Study Options*
If you are intending to participate in a four-week program ( + Summer School), you are required to attend courses amounting to at least 10 ECTS credits. To meet this requirement, one of the following options is possible:
- Choose three EuropeanÌýStudies courses (Summer School)
- Choose one German plus one European Studies course (Summer School)
- Austrian Arbitration Academy course plus one European Studies course ( + Summer School)

Credit equivalentÌý
8 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2ÌýUQ Units upon successful completion of the Arbitration Academy (8 ECTS) only (pending UQ faculty approval). Maximum of 4ÌýUQ Units upon successful completion of the Austrian Arbitration Academy plus one European course (at least 10 ECTS) (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and the .Ìý
If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to the Global Experience teamÌýat least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for Faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline. Ìý

Cost
The participation mode of this experience isÌýStudy Abroad. The program fee isÌýapproximately $3,600 AUD. There is an additional mandatory fee of approximately $45 AUD for the Austrian Student Union.

OS-HELP loan applications open on 5 January each year.
OS-HELP loan applications can’t be accepted:
